A swan. It is one of the most graceful creatures to exist on earth. With its full splendor, I behold it as a pure, chaste and generous being of nature, uplifting to the spirit.
With pride and grace, it glides beautifully on water, on land and sometimes even on air. In the famous Ballet performance Swan Lake, the swan is presented as a creature of beauty, daintiness and aesthetic bodily movements.
Miss Swan Lake carries all the attributes of gracefulness, daintiness, sophistication, elegance, delicateness and charm. These virtues embodies the being of a swan.
During my days as a student, I had the opportunity to live near the Schwanenteich. Observing the delicate nature of swans,
it was a place of paradise for me, a place of joy and peaceful relaxation.
To witness such delicate beauty was like being granted the blessed privilege of feeling like a queen, a member of royalty.
In 2007, as I received the "SL:MIMA 2007 entry in the category - Animation" for talented artists, I felt a deepened connection with this beautiful creature. It represented for me a lifestyle, which can improve the fine art of living, as long as one learns how to accept and embody these expressions of grace and beauty.
Like a chosen one, Miss Swan Lake is the "crowning glory of delicateness and elegance". A swan also uses his wings. Who doesn’t dream of being free and having the ability to raise himself up higher to heaven?
„When two swans find each other, then they stay together forever“,
so it is said.
